		<description>Cool, thanks for the info, Ben!  That&#039;s very interesting that aren&#039;t supporting the Facebook API, it actually makes the launch much more interesting to smaller devs who don&#039;t currently have a mature Facebook app that can be easily ported over to MySpace.  Through in a little revenue sharing, and this could make for a very interesting opportunity for a lot of people out there...  :)</description>

I&#039;m working on the MySpace Developer Platform and just wanted to thank you for the write up.

The platform is indeed mainly OpenSocial, with some extensions (as mitigated in the OpenSocial spec).  There won&#039;t be a clone of the Facebook API or mark-up language.
